Rowena's nursery was fun putting together. Actually, the hours we spent in fabric stores all over San Diego was torture, but it paid off when we found the perfect fabric. My wife, Jennell and my mother-in-law did an awesome job sewing the bedding, curtains, pillows and all of the matching accessories throughout the nursery.We matched the paint to the green and brown fabric and I illustrated the wall graphics. I then projected and traced my illustrations and the stripe on the wall with the assistance of a three-foot level. The wall stripe was painted first with a standard roller and blue painters tape. The rest of the graphics I painted with foam brushes, they are great at giving a straight edge. Jennell helped out with touch-up painting or it still would not be finished! The room was completed with a floor rug that matches perfectly!
