My 14 year old daughter wanted a room that was more grown up.  The only request she had was that she wanted the entire room to be chocolate brown with white trim.  We installed hardwood flooring, new 7" base trim, crown molding and custom made a bed using a solid core 6 panel door.  We purchased a wall mural of New York City and installed that on the largest wall.  We installed new closet doors and took her old mirror and removed the trim and replaced it with thick molding.  The trim around the windows and the closet doors have been sanded lightly for a distressed effect.  She loves her new room and so do her friends. It is a great place to kick back and relax.
